STRENGTH. FEMININITY. INDEPENDENCE.

The title of this blog post comes from the 3 words that CHERYL COLE chose to use to describe herself and her songs for her tour with the Black Eyed Peas. We have chosen to do a blog post about Cheryl today as it is her 28th BIRTHDAY... so HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL! Not only do we love her songs and her in general... she has the MOST INCREDIBLE wardrobe and the prettiest hair EVER. Here are some of our personal favourite outfits that she has worn over the years and some stunning photos...
We wish her the most amazing day and the best year. Drinks up for Chezza

Today is where your book begins, The rest is still unwritten...

So everyone needs something to indulge in to break from revision and exams. Our indulgence? The Hills. Yes, we have probably seen each episode twice before but The Hills will never grow old. So we thought it was about time that we wrote about The Hills-the style, and most of all, our favourite girl-Lauren Conrad. One of our favourite reads-laurenconrad's website. She always looks so effortless, yet stunning. We also adore the LC Lauren Conrad clothing collection. She looks gorgeous in both soft, pastel colours, florals, ruffles and edgy blazers, leather jackets and skinny jeans. She also has the perfect hair. Ambitions: To live the Lauren Conrad life. We can't wait to read her very own style book which we have been saving for the beach this summer.

It's ALL about GLAMOUR!

Keeping to the name of the magazine there was plenty of glamour at the Glamour Women of The Year Awards  which took place on Tuesday night. Top celebrities graced the red carpet at London's Berkeley Square Gardens including model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Fearne Cotton, Eliza Doolittle and Twilight star, Kristin Stewart. There were an array of elegant dresses worn by the celebrities however a few stole the show for us; Una Healy from The Saturdays, Tulisa Contostavlos from N-Dubz and Jessie J.
Una stood out from the rest of her bandmates in a beautiful, scarlett, floor length gown. Tulisa wore a fuschia A line dress which complemented her figure and skintone perfectly. Jessie J was the biggest suprise of the night as she wore a full length, black, sparkly gown with new long, elegant waves. Another one of our favourites was Fearne Cotton in a golden Miu Mui dress; as she proved that less is more.
There were also some fabulous accesories worn by the celebrities and one of our favourites of the night has to be Jameela Jamil's heart shaped bag.
Although there were plenty of fashion winners, there were however a few fashion disasters. Alexandra Burke turned heads, but for all of the wrong reasons. She wore an unflattering D&G dress which done nothing for her figure.

What are your opinions?

Natural Essentials

No wardrobe should be without cream coloured items, as they are just a must have essential! Not only do they match with anything but cream suits any skin tone too! Recently we both purchased two cream pieces of clothing; a cream crochet lace up front dress and a cream cropped shirt.

The cream cropped shirt can be worn with anything whether it be a skirt or in our case, high waisted shorts. The shirt just looks soo effortless and imediately gives us that ultimate Alexa Chung look, that we adore!
The cream crochet dress has an elasticated band which accentuates the waist, and the lace up detail at the front gives it a unique edge. This dress is perfect for summer and we can't wait to wear it out.

So go out and treat yourself, we all deserve a little "cream" treat.

One to watch...

At the age of 14, the True-grit star, Hailee Steinfield is the new face of Miu Miu. With a natural fashion sense and soft features, the 40s-inspired dresses of Miu Miu's winter collection will look gorgeous on her. And what is a 14 year old supposed to wear on the red carpet? She stole the spotlight in an elegant Stella McCartney dress at the Met Ball and a classy Marchesa dress at the Oscars. She has also been cast as Juliet Capulet in an upcoming adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and juliet. She is top of the list for new stars of 2011 and definately one to watch. This girl is going to be big...

Once upon a sunny afternoon...

Once upon a sunny day (a rare occasion in London!) we took a trip to St Albans park. Out came the summer  skirts and vest tops. Believe it or not we actually didn't buy anything (not including a Starbucks lunch and an ice c-REEM). Although we didn't buy anything we tried on plenty...including a maxi dress which we rather liked as it was simple but incredibly flattering. We would say they are definitely worth trying on as they are a wardrobe must have. The only thing you need to wear with it is a little confidence...
Being the typical British people we are, everyone seemed to have taken advantage of the spot of sunshine and headed to the park for a picnic. After looking through the shops and having a bite to eat we headed to the park with an ice cream and our summer playlist blaring out-our song of the day has to be 'Where them girls at-David Guetta, Flo-Rida & Nicki Minaj'.
